Le quatuor MP4 a été créé en 2008 par de jeunes diplômés des Conservatoires Royaux de Belgique, après un perfectionnement auprès notamment des Quatuor Danel, Pavel Haas et Kronos. Le quatuor participe à des spectacles mêlant la création et le croisement des arts de la scène (Danse X Music I et II, en collaboration avec l’Opéra royal de la Monnaie, Handelbeurs, concert autour de Chostakovitch commenté par la comédienne Elise Steenackers). En 2014, le quatuor crée le spectacle « Steve Reich project » en collaboration avec la chorégraphe Isabella Soupart, les Jeunesses Musicales et le festival Ars Musica. Récemment, le quatuor s’est produit dans une programmation associant notamment Beethoven, Fafchamps, Ligeti, Sciarrino, Lutoslawki et Steve Reich autour du thème des métamorphoses.

“Quarter tone” NGO presents for the second time the festival ''Crossroads-2018, contemporary music days in Armenia”, which will be held from 4 to 11 May 2018 in Yerevan, Dilijan and Gyumri. In the frame of the festival are programmed five chamber concerts, as well as seminars and masterclasses with remarkable composers, such as Jean-Pierre Deleuze, Vahram Sarkissian and Claude Ledoux. The guest musicians of the festival are Swiss-based flutist and composer Aram Hovhannisyan and Belgian-Armenian pianist Laurence Mekhitaryan.
