This score revisits the chorus - on a Zulu text - of Asimbonanga, song
of the South African group Savuka, directed by Johnny Clegg and created in 1987.
His text is dedicated to activists in the anti-apartheid struggle (Nelson Mandela,
Steve Biko, Victoria Mxenge and Neil Aggett).

These few pages are written for the duo made by Elsa de Lacerda and Pierre Solot
as part of their project of premieres around melodies having had an important role
for a societal change a revolution, a page which was turned in history.

This piece is dedicated to them, as well as to the memory of Desmond Tutu, another activist
against racial segregation in South Africa, died while writing this duet.
